DC-60 is a heavy-ion accelerator (Li to Xe) with energy of 0.4-1.75 MeV/nucleon. It is used to accelerate 13C nuclei to measure the scattering cross-section of the helium on carbon-13 that is not known well and is important for the stellar astrophysics. For accurate measurements, it is important to know a beam profile within the test chamber. The poster describes preparations and setup for this measurement that would be carried out using a 64-channel Hamamatsu H7546B in conjuncture with the existing DAQ system of the experiment.
